The Research Unit for General Practice is an independent organisation that conducts research in general practice, family medicine and the interface between primary and secondary care.
We have a strong collaboration with the Department of Public Health at Aarhus University, and the unit is accommodated in the yellow-stone buildings at the Aarhus University campus.
Our employees are engaged in a broad range of activites revolving around general practice, including research, teaching, knowledge dissemination, clinical work, quality development and consultancy.
The basic funding is provided by a research foundation under Danish Regions, but most of our activities are financed by grant applications and external funding.
