Social inequality in health

The Research Unit for General Practice in Aarhus is a partner in the Danish Alliance Against Social Inequality in Health together with the other three research units for general practice in Denmark. The alliance was established on 1 January 2020 and is supported by a grant from the Dansih Cancer Society.

The national alliance consists of a wide range of partners with the shared vision to reduce adverse health outcomes from social inequalty. PhD student Amanda Paust, an experienced researcher in health inequality, is our representative in the alliance.

The alliance focuses on a wide range of fields and professions represented by the partners. Each partner may define own focus areas and goals for reducing social inquality in health. Experiences are discussed on a regular basis and shared at the home page of the alliance (in Danish only).
