The Research Unit for General Practice in Aarhus is an independent institution, which is accommodated at Aarhus University at the Department of Public Health. The research unit also collaborates with other departments at Health, Aarhus University, with clinical departments at Aarhus University Hospital, and with quality assurance units in the Central Denmark Region.

We collaborate with general practitioners (GPs) in our research projects to ensure that new initiatives consider the clinical setting, and communication of results are given high priority. Therefore, the research unit also has a close collaboration with the Danish College of General Practitioners.

The Research Unit for General Practice in Aarhus has a close collaboration with the Research Unit for General Practice in Copenhagen, the Research Unit of General Practice in Odense, and the Research Unit for General Practice in Aalborg at the Center for General Practice at Aalborg University.
