Intervention research is evolving into its own discipline of study, with academics participating in the development, implementation and assessment of intervention activities. As a result, we have created a forum for discussion and information sharing for researchers engaged in compliex health interventions, with primary care as an essential part.
The "Research Network for Complex Interventions" has been established as a joint initiative between the Department of Public Health at Aarhus University and the Research Unit for General Practice in Aarhus.
The purpose of the network is to bring together actors within research into interventions on health promotion, prevention and treatment in general practice and the municipal sector.
The activities consist of network meetings, journal club, PhD courses and joint publications.
