On 24 June 2024 a line-up of keynote speakers discussed the ongoing digital transformation of primary care in Europe in a well-attended webinar.

The aim was to share and discuss pan-European and country-specific insights on both the benefits and unintended consequences of implementing new digital technologies in primary care, such as video consultation, remote monitoring and electronic medical cards.

The speakers discussed future opportunities and local challenges related to optimising the use of digital health technologies with a view to creating value for individual patients, healthcare professionals and the entire healthcare system.

The webinar was organised by Ulrik Bak Kirk together with Rebecca Payne, Dr Stuart Faulkner and Michelle Yeung from the University of Oxford.
